This is the perfect house for a large family gathering. It is spacious, lots of private areas if you want to relax or read; but, lots of fun areas for the family to enjoy the amenities the house offers. The rooftop pool was our gathering place every sundown and after we ended in the jacuzzi…We were close enough to the beach; we ate in-house most of the time since the house has a great kitchen. Pete was very helpful. We will rent this house again without hesitation.

The house was great but it was the views that put it over the top. There is no way to describe how amazing the rooftop pool is at sunset. We made Sundowners up there a daily ritual. The house is laid out perfectly for a large group with private bedrooms and communal living space. The bedrooms/bathrooms aren’t luxurious but that’s not what you travel to CR for. Pete was super helpful as a property manager, organizing cabs for us and answering any questions promptly.

Recently stayed at Casa de Pura Vida with a fairly large group – the house, location, and amenities exceeded our expectations. The pictures actually don’t really do it justice, although it’s clearly stunning in the photos. Do note that it takes a while to leave the Punta Leona resort area (maybe 15 min. through some hilly terrain), but the seclusion and views are second to none. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It’s beautiful, comfortable, had amazing views from the top of the home at the infinity pool, and we would definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants to stay in a secluded community with lovely beaches. We saw macaws, monkeys, and lizards all from the house. The community has a grocery store and restaurants and shuttles til 5pm that you can catch down the way at Playa Blanca, which by the way, is a beautiful beach. Amazing sunsets!! Thank you!
